Let’s Get Acquainted
My name is Dimitris Zamanis, a real estate agent based in Athens.
My job is to speak the truth and deliver results. For me, every client is a partner, and every partnership is built on transparency, honesty, and personal care.
Looking to sell or rent your property? Searching for a home to buy or lease? Here you will find a partner who will handle your case personally.
Science and Experience Combined
Negotiation, as I like to say, is not an “inborn talent.” It is both science and art. That is what I studied and what I practice.
With two Master’s degrees from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and many years of experience in the real estate market, I know how to handle difficult and demanding cases. The truth is, most deals fail due to poor negotiation.
I approach every case methodically, strategically, and always with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome.
Accurate Property Valuations
Valuation is a science, not guesswork. Every appraisal I make is based on data, analysis, and market comparison.
From the very beginning, you will know the real value of your property—without exaggerations or false promises.
My Philosophy and Values
I chose real estate because I love it, not because I lacked alternatives. For me, real estate is not just work—it is a way of life.
At the same time, my professional background in marketing, advertising, and new technologies at demanding levels helps me remain faithful to my principles without compromising my integrity.
Beyond my profession, I am a spiritual person who believes in the metaphysical dimension of life and in the law of reciprocity—what some call karma.
That is why I avoid any situation involving injustice, fraud, or harm. I believe what you give comes back to you. Every collaboration I engage in is therefore based on respect, ethics, and clarity of intentions.
For me, success has no value if it is not accompanied by fairness, respect, and humanity.
The Challenges of the Profession
Most people talk only about their “successes.” I prefer to speak also about the difficulties.
Real estate is not just about appointments in beautiful apartments or luxury homes. It also involves visiting properties under harsh or even dangerous conditions:
-
buildings with collapsing roofs,
-
listed properties filled with garbage and debris,
-
spaces occupied by the homeless or anarchist groups.
There are times when I must enter environments most people would avoid—just to provide an owner or buyer with a clear picture of the property’s real condition and value.
And while the joy of a successful deal is great, it is brief—because the next challenge always awaits.
That is what makes my work tough, but also real.
Respect Without Distinction
In my work, I make no distinctions. Every client—whether owning a small apartment or a multi-million property—is treated with the same respect, confidentiality, and discretion.
I have worked with high-net-worth property owners, but millions neither impress nor intimidate me. My role, however important, is essentially that of facilitation: to carry out a process in the correct and fair way.
What truly matters is not the value of the property, but the value of the trust each person places in me.
The Person Behind the Professional
Yes, I have academic qualifications and years of experience. But in everyday life I am simple: I enjoy walks with my dog, playing the guitar, reading books, and spending time with friends in the neighborhoods of Athens.
Perhaps this is also what makes me different: I don’t see properties only as numbers, but as an essential part of people’s lives.
If you are looking for a partner who speaks the truth, knows how to negotiate, and is committed to achieving the best outcome for you—get in touch with me.
